![]() Morris & Brandy
Morris’s young mother
had been hit by a vehicle and was still lying on the road when found.
He needed to be cut from the pouch
as he was difficult to free. Morris was extremely small and had no
fur and his eyes had not opened yet.
Very small joeys are known as pinkies. It is usually rare that pinkies survive the first few days in care, but our very dedicated carer from Jurien Bay specializes in looking after these very small joeys. She was able to keep him alive and turn him into a very healthy little guy and has since teamed up with a very cute little female called Brandy. They are great company for each other and hang out together at the sanctuary. |
