Molly was handed to us as a small joey in 2002 by our very dear friend Leesa who was also raising joeys at the time. Leesa and Molly were our inspiration to continue caring for the others.

It took Molly a while to return to the wild after living inside the house for a year. It was a privilege to have her appear at the fence after going bush for 7 months, to show us the first of her babies in her pouch. She enjoys being a mother and continues to hang around the sanctuary with her latest offspring.

We learnt from Molly that it is better to release kangaroos in a mob, as she took longer to mix with others in the wild.
