Lilly was orphaned after her mother had been shot. She was a very cute joey and became a bit of a celebrity by getting her photo taken around the district.

Lilly has grown into a very pretty kangaroo, which has not been lost on the males as she was chased and caught by a big buck. It was a distressing and bloody encounter at the time, but a few days later the scares on her tail had healed up.

Lilly is now pregnant and we look forward to seeing the new joey’s head appear from her pouch in the coming months.
