Ginger
When Ginger came to us, he was suffering leg and tail injuries, after his mother was killed on the road. When he was rehabilitated to the wild, he tried to keep up with the mob, causing his leg’s Achilles tendon to come away from heal bone. Because we had fallen in love with his personality, we had him operated on and put in a plaster cast for 6 weeks. Ginger was castrated as protection against attacks from other wild male kangaroos.

We didn't think Ginger would be able to rehabilitate completely the second time, so we released the mob without him.
