Flash was so named after his distinctive white marking under his eye and chin. He was an instant hit with the carers and went everywhere with them in his specially made pouch.

Sadly Flash’s life was tragically cut short when the mob got spooked in the pre release pen and he hit the fence, breaking his back. He was put down and is buried on the sanctuary property under a Kaffir Lime tree.
